Cyrus Maude Lawrence, 101, died July 18, 1995 at the Westwood Hills Caring Center. Born Sept. 22, 1893, in Benton County, Tenn., she was the daughter of Alabama Duncan "B.D." and Cordelia Cole Goodman. She was a housewife and a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church. She attended school in Benton County.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilda Morgan and her husband Emery, both of Poplar Bluff; a grandchild, Emery L. Morgan III of Norwich, N.Y.; and a great-grandchild, Kristen Morgan of Norwich, N.Y. She was the widow of Maurice Lawrence.
Services were July 20 at 2 p.m. at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville. The Rev. Mike Schreiner officiating with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery. The H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
