Mr. Sparks was a member of the Maryland Fossil Federation and the Calvert Marine Museum and a Fossil Guide in North Carolina as well as an avid fisherman. He was a carpenter for 17 years with Union Carpenter #132.
Son of Billy Sparks of Lawrenceburg, KY and Barbara Sparks (Moe Tremblay) of Temple Hills, MD.
Survived by his wife, Teresa Ann Bowles Sparks; parents, Billy Sparks and Barbara Sparks; daughters, Amber L. Sparks and Jenna N. Sparks of La Plata, MD; brother, Gary Sparks of Lawrenceville, KY; and two nephews, Travis L. Sparks and Nathan C. Sparks of Hollywood, MD. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation: Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
