Born on April 25, 1925 in Shelby County, Ginny was a daughter of the late Benjamin Ray and Carrie (Smucker) McAlexander. She married Raymond Stoker on June 9, 1951 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1989.
Together they raised four daughters, all of whom survive, Mrs. Shirley (Rod) Foster, Mrs. Connie (Dale) Roesser, Mrs. Carol (Jim) Doak and Mrs. Cheryl (Darrell) Langston, all of Sidney. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Donald (Charlotte) McAlexander, of Sidney, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Ginny attended Anna Schools and was a member of Greenview United Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, Ohio, with the Rev. Larry Grunden of the Greenview United Church of Christ presiding. Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenview United Church of Christ, American Cancer Society , or the Alzheimer's Association . Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
