Charles Henry Allen-68, died peacefully in his sleep at home on April 23, 2008. He is a native of Cottondale, AL and a resident of Irvington. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Hooks Allen. He is survived by his wife Michelle, son Mike Allen (Jennifer), daughter Jennifer Saunders, grandsons, Hamner & Noland Allen and Cooper Saunders. His mother, Mary Lou Allen, sister, Charlene (Robert) Shirley, brothers Richard Allen (Marti), George Allen (Susan), and Gerald Allen (Sheila). He had numerous nieces and nephews. He was a Master Mason and member of George U. Potter Lodge No. 912. Visitation Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Tuscaloosa, AL. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home, 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, AL.
