Frank served as a Private First Class on B-24H #42-95328, 741st Bomber Squadron, 455th Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Missouri prior to the war.

Frank was originally declared "Missing In Action" in Yugoslavia during the war. His remains were recovered in early 1955 and his status was changed to "Killed In Action".

He was repatriated here on March 2, 1955.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

He also has a "Cenotaph" at the Florence American Cemetery and Memorial, Florence, Italy. For that record " Click Here ".

Service # 37233551

The reason he is named on a group headstone is because when soldier's were killed in close proximity to each other they were unable, at that time, to identify them separately and interred their remains together in one grave.
