Evelyn Lucille Buckler, 80, of Waldorf died Dec. 14, 2007, at Civista Medical Center,
La Plata.
Mrs. Buckler was a homemaker and helped work on the family farm with her husband. She enjoyed bingo, reading, crocheting, cooking, her flower garden and being with family and friends. She was a lifetime resident of Charles County and of the Episcopal faith.
Born Jan. 28, 1927, in Benedict, she was the daughter of the late Otis P. Cusick and the late Effie Montgomery Cusick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Buckler and daughter, Sandra E. Lange.
She is survived by her son, David W. and his wife, Patricia Buckler of Waldorf; daughters, Doris A. and her husband, George Summers of Waldorf and Caroline S. Hilman of Clinton; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Dec. 17 at Raymond Funeral Service, where a service was held Dec. 18. Burial took place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf.
Pallbearers were Jeff, Michael and Erik Buckler, Alan Summers, Sam Hungerford and Scott Connick. Honorary pallbearers were Hank and LeRoy Buckler.
Arrangements were handled by Raymond Funeral Service.
