The company reorganized and re-enlisted for the war at Burnsville, Miss., with Napolean B. Stone as
Captain. Participated in battle of Shiloh, April 6th and 7th, 1862. May 21, Captain Stone resigned and B. E. Roberts was chosen to command. Participated in battle of Murfreesboro, acting as couriers and patrols during the
engagement.
