Funeral for Berchie Christine Cross, 84, of Courtland will be today at 2 p.m. at Courtland Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Dillard and the Rev. C.G. Reding officiating.
Burial will be in Courtland City Cemetery with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Miss Cross died Friday at Decatur General Hospital. She was born January 8, 1910, in Lawrence County. A member of Courtland Baptist Church, she was a retired teacher who taught 32 years in Lawrence County.
She is survived by two brothers, Lynn Cross of Courtland and Roland Cross of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Harold Cross, Wayland Cross, Silas B. Cross, Vernon Cross, Randy Cross and Wendall Cross.
