Dr. K. B. Rothey, Medical Society Official, Dies

Dr. Kenneth B. Rothey, 30, secretary-treasurer of the Monongahela Valley Medical Society, died Saturday night in St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh. He had been practicing medicine in Elizabeth for the past 18 months and lived on March Street, Elizabeth.
GRADUATE OF PITT
A son of Leonidas and Ruth Brown Rothey, of Pangburn Hollow, Forward Township, Dr. Rothey was a graduate of Elizabeth High School, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of West Virginia Medical School.
He interred at the Fetkin Hospital, Asbury Park, N. J., and was resident physician at Somerset Hospital, Somersville, N. J.
Dr. Rothey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Phi Beta Phi, medical fraternity.
FUNERAL WEDNESDAY
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Barbara Scott Rothey, and son, Richard Randolph Rothey; his parents; five brothers, Robert, Joseph, Leroy, and Albert and Ralph Rothey, of Salt Lake City, Utah; four sisters, Mrs. D. H. Konold, Mrs. R. B. Murdoch and Miss Ruth Rothey, of Ogden, Utah, and Miss Margaret Rothey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at his parents' home with burial in Lebanon Cemetery.
