Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bethel Barbara Adair Helms.
Graveside services and interment were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leagueville Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Schaetter Funeral Home of Fredericksburg.
