Betty McNeely Myatt, age 77, of 617 Uwharrie St., Asheboro died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Asheboro City Cemetery.

Mrs. Myatt was a native of Shelby, NC and a member of First Methodist Church. She was formerly employed with Grimes Jewelry and taught in the Asheboro City and Randolph County School Systems. Mrs. Myatt was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ernest Myatt, Jr. in 1994, her parents and three sisters.

She is survived by daughters and their husbands, Cindy and Robert Jeffcoat of Lexington, SC, Sally and Bill Booth of Richmond, VA, Kelly and Fred Alexander of Mocksville, NC and Alison and Ricky Brown of Salisbury, NC; Grandchildren, Rob Jeffcoat, Jr. and Kate Jeffcoat of Lexington, SC, Tyler and Luke Booth of Richmond, VA, Alison and Neely Alexander of Mocksville, NC, Kady, Kelly and Abby Brown of Salisbury, NC; Special Friend, Don Durham of Asheboro, NC.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 1, 2005 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, NC.
