Johnnie Lee May Quinney, 79, of Linden died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Marengo County Nursing Home in Linden. Funeral services were held at Providence Baptist Church in Gallion on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fred Freeman officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Quinney worked for Dr. Gerald Williams and at Marengo County Nursing Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Gallion and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
Active pallbearers were Harold Quinney, Jr., Joe Press Quinney, Dale Quinney, Charles H. (Buddy) Hasty, Tony Jacobs and Clarence E. Brooker, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Judy Travis and staff, Marengo Nursing Home Employees.
Funeral arrangements were directed by O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden.
