OBITUARY.
W.S. Baldwin was born at Bloomington, Ill., May 2, 1858 and died at Springranch (sic), Neb., Feb 1, 1918.
He leaves, besides his wife, two sons Earl, of Fremont, and Harry of Chicago, Ill., and one daughter, Mrs. Mathews, Yates Center Kan.
He came to Nebraska ten years ago from Illinois and settled on a farm at Trumbull, Neb. Four years ago he moved to Springranch (sic) and resided there until his death. He was well and favorably known in Clay county (sic) and leaves many friends to mourn his death.
The funeral was held Sunday, from the M.E. Church at Spring Ranch and interment was made in Spring Ranch cemetery (sic).

Mr. W.S. Baldwin, one of our fellow townsmen, died Friday at 8 p.m. of brights disease, having been a sufferer for many months, but was confined to his bed only a few days. Mr. Baldwin was well liked by all who knew him and will be missed by his many friends and relatives. He was born in Bloomington, Ill., in 1858. He leaves 3 children, 1 girl and 2 boys and a wife who will miss him very much. Mr. Baldwin has been married three times, his first and second wife having preceded him to the other world. He has been a farmer all his life. He came to Nebraska about ten years ago and settled near Trumbull, coming here about 4 years ago. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Smith of Pauline, and the burial was in the Spring Ranch cemetery (sic) west of town.
