Charles Sylvester Seaman of Circle City died Jan. 28 in Circle City.
He was 84.
Mr. Seaman was born Jan. 5, 1912 in Winona, Mo. He had lived in Arizona for 60 years,coming here from Missouri.
Mr. Seaman married the former Lorene Koller on March7, 1934. A graduate of Bolivar Teachers College, Mr. Seaman owned and operated several successful businesses throughout his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing golf. He and his wife also enjoyed spending time at their home in Summit, Utah.
Mr. Seaman is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorene of Circle City; daughter and son-in-law Vivian and George Wilkins of Wickenburg; sisters-in-law Audrey Taylor and Audrey Seaman both of Mesa; brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Sally Seaman of Mt. View, Mo.; brother-in-law V. Smith of Van Buren, Mo; grandchildren Becky Wilkins of Congress and Stefanie Kirkendall of Wickenburg; granddaughter and grandson in-law Debra Jo and Paul Wright of Wickenburg; grandson and granddaughter-in-law George Jr. and Kim Wilkins of Wickenburg; step-granddaughter Cody Wright of Wickenburg; great-grandchildren Jonny, July, Jake and Jaimie Thomas, George and R.J. Wilkins and Stefan Kirkendall all of Wickenburg; step-great-grand-son Hunter-Waddell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.at Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Gary Golike will officiate.
Interment will be held at a later date at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Seaman's name to the Wickenburg Regional Health Care Foundation; Nursing Home Expansion Fund, P.O. Box 1388, Wickenburg, Ariz. 85358.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of all arrangements.
