He was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Arkansas, to Samuel and Stella Beavers Richardson.
A Hugoton resident since 1978, moving from Texas, Mr. Richardson was an oilfield operator. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars at Hugoton and the American Legion at Hooker, Okla. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Danny Eugene Richardson of Maple Falls, Wash.; a daughter, Teresa Diane Richardson of Hugoton; an aunt; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Military graveside service was at Hugoton Cemetery.
