OFFERDAHL, LEOLA
MT. HOREB--Leola Offerdahl, age 88, died at her residence at Inglehaven on Sunday, August 27, 1989. The former Leola Kahl was born in the Mount Horeb area on March 10, 1901. She was married to Edwin Offerdahl on October 19, 1921. They farmed in the Town of Springdale for many years. She taught in rural schools for several years. Leola was a member of the Mount Horeb Evengelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies' Aid. She is survived by a son, Erling (Ivanelle) of Verona; a grandson, John (Rita) of Verona; a great-grandson, Eric; a sister-in-law, Louise Kahl of Edgerton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, at 11:00 a.m. from the Mount Horeb Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Mount Horeb Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ellestad Funeral Home in Mount Horeb.
