Funeral services were held for Michael Beets at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia on Wednesday October 24, 2007 with Rev. Gary Hostetter officiating. Interment followed at the Williamson Cemetery.
Mr. Beets was born April 8, 1947 to James Roland Beets and Bennett "Squeakie" Lee Beets and entered into rest October 21, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents and by is step-daughter, Cindy Cathey.
He is survived by his wife, Cherry Cummings Beets; daughter, Michelle Beets Mason (husband Gary); son, John Michael Beets (wife Stormi); step-daughters, Teresa LaCaze, Karen Cathey (fiancé Lovic Marsalis), Gayla Cathey Nielson (husband Steven); sister, Martha Joe Green (husband J Hue); grandchildren, Nicholas Vera, Drew Beets, Brycen Beets; Step-grandchildren, Crystal Rabo (husband Bubba), Candice LaCaze, Mason Barry, Sydney Cathey, Ella Nielsen, Avoree Nielsen, Cole Marsalis; and step-great-grandchild, Hayden Rabo.
Pallbearers were John Curtis, Bobby Joe Larsen, Jim Ward, Robbie Balance, Dale Halverson, and Wayne Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Martin Drivers and Martin Underground.
