Robert Murphy Flowers73, died Sunday, Sept 5 1971 in his home after a long illness.

Funeral Service were held on Tueday, Sept 7, 1971 at 4 pm in the Andrews Church of God with burial in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.

Grandpa Flowers, a Williamsburg County native was a son of the late Robert Chandler and Isabelle Docia Blakely Flowers. He was a farmer and carpenter. Memories are of him gathering his eggs and maintaining his garden and sharpeing his saws in order to help others.

Surviving was his widow, Lottie Bell Newton Flowers; three sons- Robert Manning, Jessie James, and William Ira Flowers of Andrews; three daughters- Mary Lee Lambert of Georgetown, Lila Mae Lambert of Darlington, Olga Lucille Kennedy of Whitmire, SC; a brother Horace Flowers of Lancaster, SC; three half-brothers Neal, Kenneth, and Walter Flowers of Lancaster; six sisters- Corrie Lee Moree and Myrtle Walters of Andrews, Ethel Davis, Lillian Wright, Nira Morton and Bessie Belle Wilson of Lancaster; a half-sister- Mary Sue Roach of Rock Hill.
