Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Adell Butler, age 93, are schedulded for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday September 29, 2009, at First Baptist Church with Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Butler, a resident of Baton Rouge, formerly of Bastrop, passed away Saturday September 26, 2009 at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. Mrs. Butler was a member of First Baptist Church of Bastrop, and was a life member of the Board of Realtors, she was a retired Realtor and Builder.
Mrs. Butler is preceded in death by her husband, Herold Butler; four siblings; and her grandson Michael L. Williamson.
Mrs. Butler is survived by one daughter, Frances Hernandez of Baton Rouge; one son, Bobby Brown of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Debra Pyke, Bobbye Sumner, both of Dallas, TX, Willie Williamson of Atlanta, GA; and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Bastrop's music program. Mrs. Butler will be missed by her grandchildren.
