Son of Adolph Custer Storz and Theodosia "Dosia" Olive Smales Storz. Husband of Anna F. Myers, no children.

Obituary:
O. T. Storz, 95, died Thursday, September 1, 1994 at his ranch home in Weston, Co.

O. T. was born on July 12, 1889 in Stonewall, CO to Adolph Custer Storz and Dosia Smales Storz. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWI.

On August 9, 1929 he was united in marriage to Anna Myers in Amarillo, TX. She preceded him in death in 1982.

O. T. along with his wife Anna, owned and operated the Storz Hereford Ranch in the Stonewall Valley. His registered Herefords were known far and wide. He even had a patent for an invention for use in cattle raising. Along with the raising of Herefords, OT also built tourist cabins which operated from 1932 to 1984. He raised and sold fish to area markets. OT's industriousness also led him to work for the railroad for 50 years, first as a conductor, then as a brakeman.

O. T. was a member of the Colorado Cattleman's Associataion, the American Hereford Association, and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmmen and Conductors. He also was a 50-year member of Las Animas Lodge #28, AF & AM 32nd degree Mason, Trinidad Chapter #23 Royal Arch Masons, and Oriental Commandery #18 Knights Templar.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Teresa Storz, parents Adolph and Doria Storz, sister Madeline Carrie Rosenberg.

O. T. is survived by Michelle Garcia of Weston, niece; Theodosia [Theodora] Mae Speer of Washington [state], great niece; and nephews; Storz cousins in Texas; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from noon to 5 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, September 6, 1994 at 10 a.m. at San Isidiro Catholic Church in Vigil with Father Harry Hoorman, S. J. officiating followed by interment in the Stonewall Community Cemetery.
