Anna M. Hathaway Drage Hathaway (1875/77-1951) was born the daughter of Joel Hathaway (1855-5/20/1931) and Sarah Gray Hathaway (1853-). Joel's father was CHarles Hathaway (1806-) he lived with Joel in the 1880 census along with Sarah's mother, Maragrate Gray (1826-). Two sourses say Anna was born in Pa. and one says NY.

Anna's known siblings were: Stella Hathaway Huber (Lewis), Franklin "Frank" Hathaway, Joseph Hathaway, Erwin Hathaway, and Clayton Hathaway.

Anna must have married and divorced a Edwin Drage, as she is shown in the 1930 census living with her cousin Robert Hathaway (1878-10/9/1939). Robert and Anna were both divorced. I discovered this by the articles on Anna and Robert visiting Anna's sister Stella Hubber. Joel their father shows Anna and Stella both listed as his children in his obit (daughters Anna Hathaway and Mrs. Stella Huber) 1880 census had both girls, too. The articles:

Mrs. Anna Drage and Robert Hathaway of Bradford were guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Huber.
And
Alfred Sun 8/21/1930
Mrs. Anna Drage of Bradford is spending time this week with her sister Mrs. Lewis Huber.

Robert and Anna Hathaway were also, in the 1940 census together and Anna was listed as a widow. She either returned to her maiden name, because she divorced, and remarried to a Hathaway, or took back her maiden name and Mr. Drage had died by then?
Robert and Anna socialized together a great deal and were buried in the family plot, Anna about 20 years after Robert. One example:
Mrs. Anna Drage and daughter and Robert Hathaway of Bradford, Pa. ... were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. P.A. McIntosh. Alfred Sun 1933.

Anna completed the 8th grade which was often typical of that time period.

She had at least two daughters by Mr. Drage: Phylis (1913-) and Ada Maxine (1916-) Drage. The girls had brother James Drage but I don't know if he was Anna's son or Edwin's second wife. Ada's obit; Ada Drage Brotherton showed her father as Edwin and brother and sister as Phylis Cridler and James Drage. Ada died 6/1971 in Bradford Hospital. McKean County Democrat 6/18/1971. Who ever, wrote the obit didn't list her mother in the obit. I figured it out because, I saw names Ada, Drage, Phylis in the obit.
