OBITUARY

HAROLD CARPENTER

Harold G. Carpenter, 27, Coronado, Calif., a former Wenatchee resident, died near San Diego on December 19, the result of an aircraft accident there.

Born in Roseburg, Ore. Feb. 11, 1941, he came to Wenatchee with his parents when five years of age. He attended Stevens Elementary School and Ellison Junior High School here. In 1956, the family moved to Moses Lake, where he graduated from high school.

He served four years in the US Navy and since his discharge had made his home in the San Diego area where he was a musician and music instructor.

He was a member of the American Baptist Church at Moses Lake.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Les Carpenter; a brother, L. Ray Carpenter, all of Yakima and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Wilson, Anchorage, Alaska.

Funeral services will be announced later by the Jones & Jones Funeral Home.

Harold G. Carpenter - Services will be conducted in the Colonial Chapel of the Jones & Jones Funeral Home, Monday at 11 o'clock. Concluding services and interment will follow in Wenatchee Cemetery. Jones & Jones is in charge of arrangements.
