Joshua Scott Cole, was born on Friday, March 3, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee to his Parents; Lance Martin and Catina Cole.
He also was blessed with a younger sister named; Hannah.
Josh, was a 2007 Graduate of Hillsboro High School, in the Green Hills area of Nashville, Tennessee where he was an outstanding football player.
On Friday, October 26, 2007 while working at his job at Bellacino's Pizzeria, Josh was murdered during a robbery after being shot in the back of his head. His killer pleaded guilty in June of 2008 and is now in prison serving two consecutive life sentences.
He is survived by parents, Lance Martin and Catina Cole; his sister, Hannah; grandparents, John Dwight and Janice Cole, George and Betty Martin; great-grandmother, Katherine Duncan; uncles, Darnell Cole (Missie), Jerry Cole (Melissa), Colin Martin (Crystal); aunt, Heather Thompson.
Josh's funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Jack Davis officiated.
Burial followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
