John McCoy Bellinger, son of Watt and
Charlotte Cheek Bellinger was born March 30
1884, near Claremont and departed this life at
his home at 1709 12th street, Lawrenceville,
February 28, 1938, at the age of 53 years, 11
month, and 8 days.

On December 23 1903, John McCoy married
to Miss Laura Morefield, at Olney. To this
union was born ten children, six boys and four
girls, one son preceding him in death in
infancy. Four years ago he united with the
First Christian church at Lawrenceville and
remained a firm believer until death.

For 29 years he was employed by the
Baltimore & Ohio railroad until July 8, 1937,
when ill health forced him to retire.
Surviving are his faithful wife and the
following children:
Albert Eugene Bellinger: 1908-1968
Virgil Willard Bellinger
Mildred Bellinger Sloniker of Maple Park
Francis Bellinger of Genoa
Marguerite Bellinger
Mable Bellinger
James Bellinger
George Edward Bellinger: 1924-2006
Lois Ann Bellinger
All at Home. Besides two grandchildren he is
survived by his aged Father[Watt], a brother
Charles, of Bridgeport: a sister, Mrs. Cora
Miller of Houton, Texas and a host of other
relatives and friends who mourn his early de-
parture.

Interment was at the Mt Pleasant cemetery
with the Rev. Carl H. Wilhelm Officiating.

Out-of-town relatives who attened the funeral
were Mr.& Mrs. Eugene Bellinger & daughter,
Mr.& Mrs Willard Bellinger, Mr.& Mrs. Ernest
Sloniker & son, of Maple Park; Francis Bell-
inger, of Genoa; Mrs. CLaude Morefield & son,
of Terre Haute; John & Oscar Morefield of
Colfoy; Mr.& Mrs. Harry Morefield of Sabrorh;
Mr.& Mrs. Jonah Hardy, and Mr.& Mrs. Virgil
Hardy, of Flora.
