Opal A. Relaford, 88, of Omak died on Friday, Feb. 5, 1999 at her home. She was born on Oct. 13, 1910 at Monte Vista, CO., to John and Jeanette (Watson) Turnbull. Opal grew up in Alamosa, CO.

Opal married Fred Carl Relaford on Feb. 23, 1929 at Phoenix, AZ. They lived at Phoenix. They moved to the Omak area in 1975 and lived on the Colville Tribal Indian Reservation. She was a member of the Omak Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.

She is survived by her sons, Fred and his wife, Della of Omak, Ron of Omak; sister, Pauline Larsen of Phoenix, AZ.; daughter-in-law, Lela Relaford of Omak; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, during December of 1984; son, Jim and daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn.
