MRS. J.E. EADES DIES AT 91
SHE WAS A LIFETIME LIVINGSTON COUNTIAN
Mrs. Permelia Temperance "Tempa" Eades, 91, widow of J.E. Eades, died at 9:40 o'clock this morning at Susan's Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born February 11, 1868 in Livingston County, the daughter of Talton and Eliza (Stephens) Maxey. Mrs. Eades had spent her lifetime in Chillicothe.
On Nov. 9, 1895 she married to J.E. Eades at Kirksville. Mr. Eades died February 28, 1932.
She leaves a granddaughter, Mrs. Doris Shields, Huntington Park, California; six great grandchildren, a brother Frank Maxey, Harrisonville and a sister Mrs. Henry Ebersole, Shreveport, Louisiana.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Vincent Eades and Doyle Eades.
Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Chapel of the Norman Funeral Home. The Rev. Medford S. Speaker, pastor of the First Baptist Church will conduct the services.
Interment will be in the family lot at Edgewood Cemetery.
