Mr. Bennie L. Adams, age 82, of Atlanta, La., passed away Monday, November 19, 2007, at the North Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, La. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. He was also a member of Winn Parish Cattlemen's Association.
He was the son of the late Julius O. Adams and the late Lucy (Adair) Adams. Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by his wife, Elaine.
He is survived by his
Daughter, Joy Irene Choate of Saline, La.
Granddaughter, Miranda Holland of Atlanta, La.
Two Great-Grandchildren, Haley and Harley Holland
Two Sisters, Nell Spikes of West Monroe, La. Gussie Beard of Baton Rouge, La.
One Brother, John Adams of South Carolina
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 22, 2007 and from 8:00 AM to service time Friday, November 23, 2007. Funeral services will be held at Southern Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2007 , with Rev. Danny Keyes officiating. Interment will be at Mars Hill Cemetery in Atlanta, La.
