Mr. Charlie Wade Carter, age 67, of Calvin, La., passed away Monday, September 22, 2008, at his residence in Calvin, La. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Calvin. Mr Carter was also a member of Calvin Masonic Lodge # 431 F & AM.
He was the son of the late Edmond Wade Carter and the late Ruby (Carpenter) Carter.
He is survived by his wife Janelle (Gilmore) Carter of Calvin, La;
One Daughter, Cynthia Walker and husband David of Frisco, Texas
One Son, Anthony Carter and wife Clennie of Dodson, La.
Two Brothers, David Carter of Calvin, La. William Carter of Leesville, La.
Three grandchildren, Alexie Carter, Deborah Walker, and Delancy Walker
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Calvin from 10:00 AM to service time Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church of Calvin at 2:00 PM Tuesday, with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Calvin, La. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
