Elizabeth married Monroe Sanford Brown on July 19,1882 in Brooklyn, New York. They had 4 children: George A Brown, Monroe Sanford Brown, Grace Elizabeth Brown Hart and Mabel Brown Halloran. Monroe Sr, Monroe Jr. and George and Mabel all died prior to Elizabeth's death .Her daughter Grace also died prior to Elizabeth's death. After Monroe's death in 1888, she married James Edward Gould on Oct. 8, 1891 in Manhattan, New York. She died on April 21, 1937 at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, New York and was admitted to the Hospital on June 18,1936. She is buried with her daughter, Grace Elizabeth Brown Hart and son-in-law Peter Kennedy Hart, both of whom died prior to her death, as well as her great grandson Richard Douglas Drew, who died June 22, 2009.
