Matthew John Krone, 28, of Litchfield died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at 9:17 p.m. in his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Krone are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Brother Ed Diveley will officiate, and burial will be in Chapman's Point Oak Grove Cemetery in Modesto. Visitation will be at Plummer's from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday night, Sept. 23.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1981, in Springfield to Don William and Paula Marveen (Tate) Krone. A Litchfield High graduate in 1999, he worked as a saw operator at Roof Structures, Inc.
A member of Carpenter's Local #725 of Litchfield, he enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, bowling and the outdoors.
He is survived by one daughter, Ryleigh Ann Griffith of Edwardsville; his parents, Don and Paula Krone of Litchfield; and his brother, Will Krone, also of Litchfield.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Otto and Barbara Krone, and his maternal grandparents, John and Thelma Tate.
