Relationship to me: Lack John Newman Hartline was my Great Grandfather.

Lack John Newman Hartline was born March 9, 1887 he was the son of John Henry Hartline who was born in Germany. Lack married one Alice Mae Johnson daughter of Ike JOHNSON.

Lack and Alice lost three children in infancy,Luther, Tommy and Mrytle. They had my grandmother Bertha Mae Hartline and several more children:

Fred A. Hartline Uncle Fred married Miss Emma PAVEY I remember my father used to sing the praises of Aunt Emma's homemade dumplings. Sadly I never was fortunate enough to get her recipe. But every holiday you can bet my father would bring that subject up. Uncle Fred & Aunt Emma were married 24 January, 1934 in Stoddard County, Missouri.
