Garden City - Mr. Ephriam Aldridge, 90, died Monday, October 27, 2003. Mr. Aldridge was born in Ware County and lived in Garden City. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church for 52 years and a Deacon for 50 years. In the year 2000 the Sunday School wing was dedicated in his name. He retired from Union Camp after 31 years and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Aldridge and Nora Aldridge and a sister, Mabel A. Hinson, all of Waycross. Survivors: wife of 66 years, Annie Corbett Aldridge of Garden City; sister, Josie A. Kicklighter; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2003 in the Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m.,Thursday, October 30, 2003 at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross.
