June Angeline Roberts, 92, Topeka, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at a Topeka care facility.
Mrs. Roberts was an Avon representative for 17 years.
She was born June 25, 1910, in Wichita, to Bert and Elva L. McFredrick McDowell. She graduated from Mulvane High School in 1927. She moved to Marion with her family in 1918 and moved to Topeka in 1958.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Central Park Christian Church and the Caregivers at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center.
She married Francis Richard Roberts on June 26, 1932, in Newton. He died Oct. 23, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Paul W. Roberts, Topeka, Gerald D. "Gerry" Roberts, Kansas City, Mo., and Donald L. Roberts, Wichita; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Gard Cemetery near Marion. Mrs. Roberts will lie in state from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, where visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
