Silas M. Daugherty 76, of Route 2 Jacksboro, died Tuesday, June 23, at Lafolette Community Hospital. He made his home with his Niece Mrs Lula Mae Cox. Mr. Daugherty was a coal miner and a veteran of World War 1.
He is survived by a brother Bob Daugherty of Clinton, and a sister Mrs. Lula Braden of Briceville.
Funeral services were held last Thursday, at 2 p.m.at Martin's Chapel in Lake City,with the Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and the Rev. BillHensley officiating. Burial was in Laurel Grove Cemetery Near Briceville. Martin Funeral Home Lake City, was in charge of the arrangements
