Joyce I. Koslicki, Grandview, MO, died Sept. 29, 2009, at her home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, October 3, at Newcomer's Longview Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Longview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 2, at the Chapel with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
Joyce Koslicki was born December 4, 1929 in Litchfield, NE. She attended public schools in Litchfield during the course of her education. She was a life-long homemaker and enjoyed the fruits of motherhood with her children and grandchildren.
Donald B. Borne, her first husband, preceded her in death in 1958. Carl W. Koslicki, husband of 42 years, preceded her in death in 2002, as well as his two sons, David and Dwayne Koslicki, and grandson Phillip Borne.
She is survived by daughter Sheila Borne Bundy of Lee's Summit, MO; son, Gary Borne of Belton, MO; daughter Debra Wells of Independence, MO; six grandchildren: Chad Ireland of Houston, TX; Troy Alexander Sullivan of Lee's Summit, MO; Samantha Rose Koslicki of Kansas City, MO; Gary Lee Borne of Independence, MO; Nathan Michael Wells of Independence, MO; Mackenzie Marie Wells of Independence, MO; and two great-grand children.
