Mrs. Annie M. (Kern) Mickley, widow of Dr. Howard P. Mickley, was found dead yesterday at her home, 3286 Main St., Neffs. Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Dr. George W. Heintzelman said last night she probably died Thursday morning of natural causes. But he told The Morning Call an autopsy is planned and state police at the Bethlehem barracks are investigating the death. Dr. Heintzelman said notification of the death was made to Schnecksville funeral director, Richard A. Heintzelman, in a letter from Mrs. Mickley's daughter Dorothy. Mrs. Mickley, 82, resided with her daughter at the Main Street address, he said. Dr. Heintzelman said he pronounced Mrs. Mickley dead and called in state police. The body was removed to the Richard A. Heintzelman Funeral Home. Born in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Mrs. Mickley was a daughter of the late Willoughby and Eliza (Schneck) Kern. She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Union Church, Neffs. Her only survivors are her daughter Dorothy and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at the convenience of the family Monday at the Richard A. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 54 Summit Road, Schnecksville. There will be no viewing.
