She was born Oct. 8, 1905, in Wiota, Iowa, to Patrick and Emma Mitchell. Mrs. Pfister was a member of St. Patricks Church of St. Charles.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Troy Joseph Dill; second husband, Richard Pfister, two daughters, Patrica Ann Dill and Shirley Ott; one stepson, Neil Dill; six brothers, Patrick, John, Charles, Walter, Robert and Frederick Mitchell, and her parents.
Survivors include daughters, Patrica (Richard) Morgan of St. Charles and Mary Catherine (Albert Lee) Jones of Mound City, MO; sons, George (Irene) Dill of McKittrick, Calif., James (Louella) Dill of Kansas City, MO, Richard (Mary Ann) Dill of Sioux Falls, SD and David (Roberta) Dill of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Mary O'Neill and Nora Mitchell, both of Boulder, CO; brother, James Mitchell of Marshalltown, IA; 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass was held Feb. 12 at St Patricks Church, St. Charles. Rev. Thomas Dempsey officiated. Graveside services were held in Tekamah Cemetery Feb. 13.

The surviving children of Catherine (Dill) Pfister gathered in Tekamah Feb. 13 for her interment in the Tekamah Cemetery.
Her sons, George, James and Richard, as well as deceased daugher, Shirley, all were born in Tekamah between 1935-1940. They are the children of Troy Dill whose name appears on page 35 of the Centennial Book, compiled in 1954.
They are the nieces and nephews of teacher, Winnie Dill, pictured on page 34 of the same book.
Troy Dill was buried in Tekamah in Januray 1951. The Dill family moved to South Dakota in July of 1943.
