Myron Dale Abraham, age 73, of St. George, died June 29, 1992 in Sandy, Utah of complication of Emphysema.
He was born August 4, 1918 in Clarion, Utah, a son of Leonard and Florence Gay Bond Abraham. He married Marjorie Jean McCall in May of 1942 in Los Angeles, Calif. Dale grew up in Knosh, Utah, graduating from Millard High School. He raised his family of eight children in St. George, Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church, where he currently was a High Priest. He had worked as a private mail carrier for the US Mail.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, Orem; five daughters and three sons, Betty Watson, West Jordan; Virginia Balding, Sandy; Judy Felter, Kearns; Lee Abraham, St. George; June Judy, Houston, Texas; Myron Abraham, Richfield; Christine White, Carlisle, Penn.; Kevin Abraham, Del Rio, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ray (Vilate) Shields, Joplin, Missouri; Mrs. Terry (Carol) Chidester, Linden; Mrs. Garth (Mary Gay) Walker, Seattle, Wash.; Hal Abraham, Burbank, Wash. He was preceded in death by a sister, Thora Youngburg Cochren and a brother, Blaine Abraham.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 1992, 11 a.m. in the St. George 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 85 So. 400 East, St. George, where friends may call for viewing, Friday morning two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer-Turner Funeral Home, Richfield and Salina, Utah.
