Jean Miller Rites Slated Tuesday
Funeral services are to be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 for Mrs. Jean Louise Miller, who died Saturday morning in Glenn General Hospital, where she had been under treatment for a week. The Rev. William G. Dalton will conduct the services in the Federated Church. Burial will follow in the Graves cemetery, west of Orland.
Survivors include the husband, Carlton A. Miller; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Johnson and brother, L.A. Johnson Jr., all of Orland; a sister Mrs. Joyce Cushman, Redding and four nieces and three nephews.
Mrs. Miller was born here Oct. 29, 1922, and had lived at Orland all her life. She was a past worthy advisor of the Rainbow Girls, a former Girl Scout leader and a member of the Federated Church and of the Morning Star Circle. - Transcribed by E.
