LEWISTON - Joseph Reginald Roger Beaulieu, 80, of 31 Vivian St., Auburn, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Born in Lewiston on Dec. 11, 1927, a son of the late Ludger and Alma Saindon Beaulieu, he was educated in Auburn schools.
Reginald is survived by his wife, the former Theresa D. Meservier of Auburn, whom he married Sept. 1, 1947, at St. Mary's Church; a daughter, Denise Smith and her husband, Gilbert, of Monmouth; three sons, Daniel Beaulieu and his wife, Deborah, of Waterville, Donald Beaulieu and his friend, Ed Libby, of Leeds and David Beaulieu and his wife, Janet, of Auburn; his grandchildren, Nicole and Adrianne Rioux, Rebekah and Damon Beaulieu, Cindi, Bethany and Heather Beaulieu of Auburn; his great-grandchildren, Taelor Jordan, Justin Harding and Evan Labbe, all of whom he loved very much; and a sister, Cecile Tozier of Auburn.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Annette Desjardins, Aliette Theriault and Rita Beaulieu; and three brothers, Ludger, Gerard and Lionel Beaulieu.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at St. Louis Church, Dunn and Third streets, Auburn. Committal will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. (Morning Sentinel Oct. 13, 2008)
