EMPORIA --- Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roberts-Blue- Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia for Christopher Anthony Mendoza, 23, Chanute. He died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at a Wichita hospital from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident in Chanute.

Mr. Mendoza worked for the Pizza Hut in Chanute.

He was born Jan. 21, 1976, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Rafael A. Mendoza Jr. and Lena Hill.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lena and Wayne Bass, Emporia; his father, Rafael A. Mendoza Jr., Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Alfonso Mendoza and Wayne Bass Jr., both of Chanute, and Tony Wayne Bass, Pomona; four sisters, Anita Tennis, Angie McGinnis, Mary Eagle and Daniella John, all of Chanute; and grandparents, Edward B. Hill, Kansas City, Mo., Buck Sheeks, Kansas City, Kan., and Margaret Bass, Chanute.

Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.

Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the Christopher Anthony Mendoza Memorial Fund to be designated later and sent in care of the funeral home.
