Howard Soule Abbey, a resident of Klamath Falls for the past 20 years, passed away in this city on Wednesday, December 13, The result of a self-inflicted gunshot. The deceased was a native of Cloud county, Kan., and was aged 42 years 6 months and 16 days when called. He was a member of the Baptist chcurch, the local post, American Legion and the local BPOE lodge No. 1247. He is survived by his wife, Lois Grace, thee sons, Howard J., Robert and Billy, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wallace Abbey, all of this city, one brother Walter; one sister, Mrs. Arthur W. Larsen, two nephews, Richard and Teddy Abbey of Medford, ore. The remains rest in Ward's Klamath funeral home, 925 High street.
