BOGATA – Wanza Sheffield, 74, of Bogata died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, in Regency Nursing Home in Clarksville.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at Cuthand United Methodist Church. Burial is to follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

She was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Cuthand, the daughter of L.D. and Jennie Holloway Mayes. She married L.B. Sheffield Oct. 25, 1950, in DeQueen, Ark. He preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1986.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Abrion H., Bruce and W. R. Mayes; and two sisters, Dessie Black and Mollie Coggins.

She is survived by her four sons, Danny, Kenneth and Lonny Sheffield all of Cuthand and Glen Sheffield of Boxelder; two daughters, Pat Duncan of Pittsburg and Betty Dobson of Garland; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Dobson, Brandon, Garrett, Jake, Cole Blake and Lonny Bryan Sheffield.
