SHAMBLIN, Howard Charles, 84, of Tampa, passed away July 1, 2005. . . . Mr. Shamblin retired as a Major serving in the U.S Army's 7th Infantry Brigade, 17th Regiment's Heavy Tank Co. He served in World War II and Korea. He was a member of the Retired Officers Club at MacDill Air Force Base, Army Buffaloes Tank Brigade, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. . . . A graveside service with military honors was held at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
