Mrs. Dora B. Henry, 82 died at 10 p.m. Sunday Dec 13, 1964 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hughes, Waynetown. Mrs. Henry who had made her home with her daughter since her husbands death in 1957, had been seriously ill for two weeks following a series of strokes. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, living in the Waveland and Waynetown communities. She received her education at Mt. Eden School near Little York and was a member of Christian United Church. Born Sept 20, 1882, in Washington County she was a daughter of Daniel and Almeda Bryant. She married Jesse Henry 1908 at Crawfordsville. Survivors include the daughter, and two other daughters, Mrs. Peggy Edwards and Mrs. Wandelene Gardner; 3 sisters, Mrs. Jane Floyd; Mrs. Ethel Bane and Mrs. Lizzie Hahn; 11 grandchildren 4 greats. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Olive Smith who died last April and a son James who died in 1920. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies funeral Home Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating; interment in Freedom Cemetery, 3 miles northeast of Waveland.
