Lucille F. Taylor
SALEM - Lucille Ellett Francis Taylor, 64, Salem, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Monday, Dec. 15, 1975 at her home.
She was born Dec. 10, 1911 n Bazette, Tex., a daughter of Arthur O. and Mattie Armstrong Ellett. She married J. Wayne Francis on July 3, 1929 in Manti LDS Temple, and he died June 17, 1959. She married Kendall Taylor on July 20, 1962 in the Manti Temple.
Mrs. Taylor received her education in Springville schools, graduating from Springville High School and then from Utah Technical College at Provo in practical nursing. She was employed by Hughes Memorial Hospital in Spanish Fork for many years.
Mrs. Taylor had served as president of the YWMIA at three different times, was a counselor in the relief society and teacher in all the auxiliaries in both ward and stake.
She was also a member of Alpha Thae Club and Salem Literary Club.
Survivors include her husband; one son and four daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Betty Lou) Mendenhall, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Rene Kennedy, J. Wayne Francis and Mrs. Fred (Mary Lynne) Finch, all of Payson; Mrs. Blaine (Joy) Butler, Salt Lake City; one stepdaughter and two stepsons, Mrs. Allen (Clara Jane) Woodhouse, Salem; Dallas Peterson Lander, Wyo.; Mark Peterson, Lake Shore; 31 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sister, Mrs. Verl (Lorena) Francis, Ogden; Drawin Ellett, Dallas, Tex.; Robert Ellett, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. William (Katherine) Swenson, Boise, Ida.; Mrs. Gene (Evelyn) Breinholt, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lowell (Virginia) Bickmore, Hawaii, and Arthur Ellett, Fallon, Nev.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Salem Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday in the Salem Ward Relief Society room.
Burial will be in Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
