Matthew M. Gaddy, son of John and Polly Gaddy of Richland Co. IL. Matthew married 24 April 1898, Lawrence Co. IL, Sarah M. Bohnstedt, daughter of Johann Carl Christian "Charles" Bohnstedt II and his wife Mary Ann (Cappell) Bohnstedt who are buried in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Obituary: Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the home of Kelly Hull, 150 Glenwood avenue, for Mack Gaddy, 73, retired Baltimore and Ohio railroad section foreman who passed away Monday night at his home at 140 Glenwood avenue, after a short illness.

The Rev. R. L. Chitty, pastor of the Olney Free Methodist church, officiated and interment was made in the Maple Dale cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah, and two children, Howard Gaddy, of Olney, and Mrs. Neil Davis, of Springfield. Also surviving is a brother, Charles Gaddy, of Olney.
