AZLE - Kate Horton of Azle, a former longtime Cleburne resident, died Friday at an Azle nursing home. She was 88.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home in Azle. Burial will be in Lane Prairie Cemetery, south of Joshua.
Mrs. Horton was born in Cleburne and had lived there most of her life. She was a homemaker.

She moved to Azle 5 1/2 years ago.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for Walls Manufacturing Co. before retiring, and she was a homemaker.

She was proceded in death by her daughter Kathryne Jane Horton Duke.

She was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Survivors: Husband, Bob Horton of Azle; two daughters, Frances Travis of Haltom City and Annette Fain of Azle; brother, Josh Bonham of Cleburne; sister, Rosetta Lee of Carmichael, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
