"Lula Fortner, aged eight(sic) months, died yesterday morning at 12:15 o'clock at the home on Back Bay. The funeral was held this morning at 10:30 o'clock with interment in the Biloxi cemetery. Rev. D. W. Rosdell officiated".
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 3, page 193: Lula was 9 monts old and died from "marasmus".
