Victim of Car Skid Near Plumville Dies in Hospital
George Beltz, aged 18, of Home R D 1 died yesterday afternoon in Indiana Hospital from injuries suffered early Sunday when an automobile in which he was riding, skidded, ran up an embankment and upset in Route 85 near Plumville.
The youth was thrown out of the car by the impact, police reported and suffered a crushed pelvis and internal injuries. The car was driven by Kenneth Wadding, aged 22 of Home R D 2, who escaped injury as did another passenger.
Beltz, a native of Johnstown, had been living with his uncle, Edward Beltz, a farmer for the last five months. Previously he had worked in Passaic, N. J. He is survived by his father, Harvey Beltz, of Rochester, his mother, Mrs Stella Cozens Beltz, two brothers, James and Donald and a sister Miss Jean Beltz, all of Passaic. Friends are being received at the Bowser Funeral Home.
